I was supporting Kingston Council with various elements of planning and preparation for the redevelopment of their largest estate through a joint venture with Countryside Properties.  Following a successful residents ballot in early 2020, the programme is now progressing with the phased demolition of over 800 existing homes and delivery of over 2000 new homes, with the Council retaining long term freehold ownership and management of the estate.  My role focused on the rehousing strategy, social value and benefits realisation.  I was also involved in the full range of door-to-door and drop-in consultation activities including promoting the ballot to residents.
